You do not need to have a team to sign up.
Finals Looming
There is now only 1 round remaining for the senior competition and junior competition before finals commence this week. All junior finals are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. starts and are played as best of five, with 5th set to 15 (2 point advantage) and change ends at 8. Teams are advised to check player qualifications for finals.

Places exist for up to 16 boys and 16 girls from throughout Central and North Central Victoria, with selection based on current and potential ability.
Successful candidates will be offered a ten month Academy Program beginning in August, which includes physical, skill and personal development sessions. Successful completion of all aspects of the program will qualify the athlete to graduate at a formal presentation ceremony.
Players 19 years or under as at 31st Dec 2013 and must be 12 years old as of 1st Aug 2013

The Bendigo Volleyball Association Spring 2012 Season concluded Thursday, 29th Nov with the Grand Finals being completed at the Bendigo Stadium. Winning teams were Camp Hill Aces, Goldies, GS Wolverines, BSSC Reunion, Chikigh Blue, Golden Square MD2 and Golden Square MD1. Scott Ross BVA.

Congratulations to BSSC Open Boys Div1 team winning Silver, BSSC Open Girls Div 2 winning Gold and Girton U17 Boys Honours winning Bronze at the VVSC on the weekend of 27-29 July.Bendigo Brings Home Gold and Silver.
The Bendigo Volleyball Association Men’s Division One side took home a silver medal at the weekends Victorian Country Volleyball Championships.

Further to the team’s success James Winzar, Josh Gordon and Todd Broadbent were all named in the All Star Seven, the best players at the tournament.
The Bendigo Women’s side went one step better than last year winning the gold medal in an entertaining five set match against Korumburra. The side finished on top of their pool not losing a match all weekend. All Star Seven setter Nikki Penny led the Bendigo side well, while fellow All Star Seven player Gaia Marullo started the final well winning many points. Fellow All Star 7 player Sally Deed ably supported Penny and Marullo in attack and after Bendigo won the first set easily the final looked to be a cakewalk. Korumburra had other ideas however taking the next 2 sets in an amazing turnaround of form. Bendigo levelled the match at 2 sets all with some great backcourt work from young Libero Elleri OConner and then had the power and poise to go on and win the deciding fifth set and gold medal.
The Volleyball Country Championships is scheduled to move to Geelong next year and the Bendigo Volleyball Association will once again look to field strong sides in multiple divisions.
