Country Championships is a special event on the annual calendar for Volleyball in Victoria.
Since its inception in 1970, the Country Championships have grown significantly, starting with Division One Men and Women, expanding to include Division Two Men and Women in 1980, and further evolving in 2016 with the addition of Division Three Men and Women. The championships have been held annually, with the only exceptions being in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.
It is an exciting weekend of elite competition, as teams from across the state battle for championship glory. With over five decades of rivalry and passion, it brings together the best players from country Victoria in a highly competitive competition.
The 2025 event promises to showcase the incredible skill and dedication of country volleyball athletes while bringing economic and community benefits to the Bendigo region.
