Fixtures:
There will be some major changes to the fixtures mainly affecting the senior divisions.
Seniors –
- All senior divisions will be having a couple of general byes. This is to get off court 4A and the only option we have at this moment in time.
- Court allocations will also be changing to reflect this.
- Division 3 Men will merge with Division 2 Men making a 12-team competition. We will then split top 6 on the ladder playing off for the Division 2 finals series and the bottom 6 for the Division 3 finals series.
Juniors –
- Junior B draw will change as previously advised
All draws should be to teams no later than COB Monday.
Senior uniforms:
We require uniforms to be up to standard across Men’s Division 1, 2 and Women’s competition by August 15th.
From August 15th duty teams are then advised to start taking points away from offending teams. 8 points will be awarded to the opposition for each uniform breach in set 1.
- Shirts to be predominantly the same colour with numbers identifying players. Logos are not an issue
- Shorts to be the same colour, logos not an issue
- Socks to be the same colour, logos not an issue.
Any teams who need assistance with uniform please ask, we have spares we can let you utilise.
Registrations:
Volleyball Victoria and BVA registrations will be due by August 29th. Players who are not registered by this date and have played 3 or more games will then become ineligible to take the court.
Players are required to have a silver membership plus pay for the BVA affiliation fee: Membership – Bendigo Volleyball Association
